Butler Rowland Mays Architects - Albany Engineering Corporation Offices

Albany Engineering Corporation hired BRMA to design a new office building for their firm which is reflective of their dynamic corporate philosophy. AEC wanted a very modern building with a simple layout to be located on a river front site. The first floor houses a substantial conference room and support spaces while the second floor has offices and a library with an atrium and skylight above. An exterior water feature reinforces the focus of their hydroelectric business. The main entrance is emphasized by a sculputral entry canopy. The exterior materials consist mainly of concrete and glass while the interior has frameless glass partitions.
