East
Glenville Fire Department hired BRMA to redesign the roof structure and
entry canopies of their fire station in order to solve existing building envelope leaks. After investigating the problems with the existing roof, BRMA designed roof improvements/ replacements which solve the run-off and leaking
problems. Overhangs, gutters and site drainage were also added to reduce water infiltration
through the lower part of the walls at grade level due to the low pitch
of the site. The new roof line improved both the function and aesthetic
of the existing building.
