The driving force behind this complicated Project was poor indoor air quality. BRMA was asked to solve the problem and completely renovate the existing office areas. Air quality and hazardous materials testing was performed prior to any design work. A new heating and air-conditioning system was installed allowing for the introduction of filtered fresh air. The exterior envelope was sealed to prevent the infiltration of contaminated air caused by buses.

BRMA’s design solution involved the design and specification of new finishes, custom casework, lighting, and color selections. The design incorporated an arched corridor, ambient lighting, and extensive amounts of hardwood trim to protect corner surfaces.
